Smiley & Beau,
I've been terribly remiss in getting back to you and letting you know that I got the rear derailer hanger straightened by a local bicycle mechanic within a week of talking to both of you back at the end of August and diagnosing the shifting problem we were having. It was a shame that it must have got bent during transport but at least it was an easy fix. It's shifting smoothly and has been running great ever since. We've been getting it out at least once or twice a week. Between it, our road bikes, our hybrids for the trails and the airplane, we've been keeping pretty busy. My poor excuse for not writing sooner - sorry. Anyway, we're just loving it. We got a nice airplane ride in today followed by a nice 16 mile ride on the tandem, checking out the fall colors from the air and the ground. We couldn't help but stop and do some wine tasting along the way with the bike. Here are a couple of photos. Thanks again for everything. We're loving it.
